Lee-Ann’s journey in dance is as inspiring as it is diverse, reflecting both her deep-rooted passion for the art and her commitment to education and mentorship. As the daughter of Marie Ann, she grew up immersed in the world of dance, traveling extensively across the United States to study and compete. Her extensive training, combined with her competitive experiences, has shaped Lee-Ann into a skilled and versatile dancer, proficient in ballet, tap, jazz, and acrobatics.
Having completed CDTA dance examinations alongside her mother and fellow instructors, Lee-Ann’s technical expertise is foundational to her teaching approach. But her contributions to the dance community extend far beyond her own performance achievements. Since joining the staff at the Marie Ann Longlade School of Dance (MALSD) in 1998, Lee-Ann has dedicated herself to nurturing young talent, teaching various styles of dance, and preparing students for success in competitions across Canada and the United States, as well as for their CDTA exams. Her students have flourished under her guidance, and her passion for teaching is evident in the accolades her students have earned, including top competition placements and successful exam results.
