Paige Kossel

Paige’s journey as a dancer and teacher is deeply rooted in the rich legacy of dance that has shaped her life from a very young age. Growing up in Mississauga, Ontario, she was immersed in the world of dance, beginning her training at the Marie Ann Longlade School of Dance (MALSD) at just two years old. Throughout her formative years, Paige trained in a variety of styles, including jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, and lyrical dance. Her comprehensive training with the prestigious school helped her develop into a versatile and accomplished dancer.

Paige has a strong foundation in the technical aspects of dance, having completed all levels of the Canadian Dance Teachers Association (CDTA) exams in tap, ballet, and jazz. Her competitive spirit has driven her to participate in numerous dance competitions across Ontario and the United States, where she has garnered a wealth of awards and scholarships for her exceptional performances.

Her passion for dance led her to pursue a dance major through the regional arts program in secondary school, a program that allowed her to hone her skills further and deepen her commitment to the art. Continuing her education after high school, Paige carried her love of dance to Brock University, where she was a captain of the EDGE Dance Team. Under her leadership, the team competes at a varsity level in Canada-wide competitions, further showcasing her dedication and talent on a national stage.

Paige’s achievements as a dancer have been matched by her growth as a teacher. With her extensive training and competitive experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her students. She carries forward the same passion, discipline, and excellence that were instilled in her at MALSD, ensuring that her students not only develop their technical skills but also learn the importance of artistry and dedication in dance.

With her strong foundation in dance, leadership qualities, and continued success both in competition and teaching, Paige is well on her way to making her own mark in the world of dance, continuing the legacy set by her mother, Gail Longlade-Kossel, and inspiring the next generation of dancers.
